Spaceport America

As part of Leadership New Mexico, Spaceport America offered a special tour to members in February of 2020.  The Spaceport is really pretty amazing.  It is huge.  We were only authorized to take photos and videos in certain areas, so there aren’t a lot of those.  The best part of the tour was we were brought into the hangar with their brand new spaceship.  My dad was able to join me on the tour and I really enjoyed the time with him.  We were able to visit their small museum and ride in their human gyroscope.  I am amazed at how active my dad is at 83.  He even rode in the gyroscope a few times.  I think I get my love of adrenaline from him.  🙂  The Spaceport isn’t open to the public, but their website has more information about their mission.  The architecture and technology advances at the location are pretty incredible.
