Denver, Christmas 2019

My oldest daughter, Shilo, and her husband, Greg, moved to Denver in January of 2019.  Shelby and I traveled to Denver for Christmas this year to spend time with them. 

Denver is a really fun place to visit.  The traffic is terrible, so I would not want to live there, but visiting is fine.  The cost of living is also through the roof. The weather happened to be perfect and mild while we were there.  We visited Union Station and 16th St. on Christmas Day.  Nothing was open that day, but we were still able to enjoy walking around.  The skating rink did happen to be open on Christmas Day and we were able to enjoy some time ice skating. 

Union Station was beautifully decorated for Christmas.  Walking around downtown is really enjoyable. There were so many people there – even though it was Christmas Day.

The day after Christmas we did some shopping and then spent a few hours at Top Golf. Even if you don’t golf you can enjoy hitting some balls at Top Golf.  They have so many different games you can play by earning points.  This will definitely be a regular activity for us when we visit Denver.
