Nogal Peak, New Mexico | August 2020

August 12, 2020, was the 5th anniversary of my husband’s passing.  This was the first time both of my daughters, Shilo and Shelby, were both able to join me together for our annual hike.  In the past, it had always been one or the other due to scheduling conflicts. 

As usual, the campsite and hike were wonderful.  Everything was so green and lush. So many wildflowers were blooming.  It was quite hot though. Better than the 104 degrees in Roswell though.
